Resolutions of Respect
Death is abroad in our land, gathering fruits for eternity. And
has visited our church and taken another of our loved ones.
Sister Myrtle Beard. She was borned Oct. 21, 1893, departed this
life Mar. 18, 1913, age 21 years, 4 months, and 26 days. She
professed faith in Christ at thirteen years of age and united with the
Missionary Babtist Church at Thompson Creek ever after living the life
of a Christian. Myrtle leaves a father, mother, five sisters, and
two brothers and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her death.
Resolved, That we bow humbly before him who doeth all things
well. We feel that the church has sustained a great loss.
Resolved, that we deeply sympathize with the family and commend them to
the protecting care of a father and in his unfailing love which our
sister trusted so implicitly.
Resolved, that a copy of these resolutions be spread upon our church
record, one sent to the family, and one sent to the Dresden Enterprise
and Babtist Builder for publication.
