As the noon day Sun was shining so bright about o clock on June the 30- 1927 Mrs. Maryellen JACKSON departed this life at Jonesboro Ark at St Benards Hospital she was 64 years 5 mo 27 days sister JACKSON leaves 3 boyes and 2 girls 1 brother 1 sister god bless them in theire lonly hours weep not dear ones she is not gone forever just gone before For she said web I am coming Now dear children live so you can say Papa and Mama I am coming and can say surely goodeness and mercey shall follow me all the dayes of my life and I will dwell in the house of the lord for ever as Ellen grew weaker she grew stronger in the lord no woman of more sweetness of disperstion (disposition?) and purity of characture ever lived in our community and church and we reconize the looss of a faithfull sister that we command her famialy to her god and savior for comfort with the assureance that now she is enjoying that peacefull rest sweet rest having lived a good life finished her causes kept the Faith!
 (ed?) she is now in possession of that crown of rightousness which the lord the Judge shall give} be - it.  resolved that a copy of this be sent to her beraved famialy and put on the church book also a copy be sent to the paper
