Resilutions of Mrs Martha Elisebeth Brown
Death has again entered our community and claimed for its victim one of
our loved ones Mrs Martha Elisebeth Brown. Deceased was borned
January the 31. 1875 and went to sleep Aug 14 - 1922 she sleeps that
blessed sleep from which none ever wake to weep she was married to M.
E. Brown Jan the 31. 1895. to this union were born six children husband
and children servive her she was a quiet unassuming Christian to many a
good neighbor a loving wife and mother To know her was to love
her she professed faith in Christ at the age of 12 years years joined
the Missionary Babtist church at concord carroll co tenn From
theire she moved her membership to Thompson Creek church where she
lived a constant member untill death claimed her Fair well mother
peace be Thy silent rest god our lord and savior called you home and in
his goodness he knows best theire fore Be it resolved that since this
church is bereft of a faithful sister that we bow in submission to the
lords will and extend our loving sympathy To the beraved husband and
famialy may they some day make an unbroken famialy in a home where
theire will be no sad good Byes
