Obituary
James H. PASCHALL was born June 3. 1847 died December 7. 1919, age 72
years six months and four days. He was married to Cordelia CORAM
April 21, 1872. To this union were born five boys and three
girls, four boys preceding her to the grave. Those living are
Mrs. Ula PAGE, Mrs. Eva MCDANIEL, Mrs. Minnie OWENS and Lan
PASCHALL. He professed faith in Christ in early life and joined
the Missionary Babtist Church at North Fork in Henry County
Tennessee. He was transferred by letter from there to Little
Valley Church in Grainger County Tennessee. In 1888 he moved his
membership to Thompson Creek Babtist Church in Weekley County Tennessee
where he lived a consistent member until his death. Brother PASCHALL
was a sufferer for five years from effects of Paralysis his entire left
side of his body having been paralyzed during this affliction he did
not often have the privilege of attending and worshipping at the church
but it was always his delight to have the saints to worship with him at
his residence. We feel that he has gained much by his
departure. Besides his children he leaves a devoted a lone widow
to morn his death.

This same obituary appears again just a couple of pages later in the
book. The changes are the title from Obituary to Reselutions of
Respect of James H. PASCHAL; "preceding him to the grave" instead of
her; Mrs. Minnie OWEN instead of OWENS; and "devoted and lone widow"
instead of "a devoted a lone widow".
