Reselutions of Rev Elder H. W. JACKSON

Elder henry webster Jackson was born april the 8- 1859 died April the 24- 1923 age 65 years 16- dayes.  he professed a hope in Christ at the age of 12 years united with Thompson Creek Church where his membership till death.  He was married to sister Mary STEEL in May 1878 to this union were Born nine children four of whom have died.  His wife three sons and two daughters survive him.  Brother JACKSON was liberated to Preach by thompson creek ch August 12- 1895 during the pastorate of Elder T. H. MOORE and was ordained to the full work of the ministery by said church on december the 8- 1900.  during the pastorate of Eld. C. H. BELL.  The ordaining council consisted of the pastor and officers of said church and Elder Asa COX and Elder C. C. McDEARMON.  He was one of the most beloved pastors of west tennessee.  He had been honored as moderator of the Weekly County Association some six or seven years which office he occupied at the time of his death.
