It has pleased God in his infinite wisdom and goodness to call our
beloved Sister Mrs. Annie SUMMERS Was borned Aug. the 12 1875
Died Sept the 13 1907 Was married to F. E. SUMMERS June the 6
1906 She was loved by all and her life will live on in the lives
and affections of those who knew her.
Sister SUMMERS professed faith in Christ in 1888 She First joined
the Methodist church but in 1898 united with the Missionary Baptist
Church and lived a consistant member untill Death. She was sick
just a few days, congestion causing her Death. Mrs. Summers told
her husband and friends that her Death was near at hand before she was
takend sick she was grately impressed of her Death by a dream and
made gifts of her jewelry and keepsakes to her relatives she had
many friends to visit her during her illness and often spoke of going
home and the beauties of Heaven giving then to understand that Gods
grace was sufficient for her. She had three stept sons who loved
her grately for she was a true mother to them in ever respect She
lived an exemplary Christian life before them but our heavenly Father
who cannot err saw fit to call her, and we must be submissive to his
will. Dear children and father we can only bow our heads in
Humble submission to the Maker and giver of every pure (joy?) and rest
in hope that some sweet day we will join her among the redemed where we
will togather praise Him who saved us by His precious blood.
