Reselutions of Sister Ann ALLMAN
Resolved that In the death of sister Ann Elisabeth ALLMAN thompson
Creek Babtist church has lost one of its best members she was born Dec
25 - 1846 departed this life June 22, 1922 her age was 75 years 5
months and 27 dayes was married to J. F. ALLMAN Nov 4 - 1866 To
this union were born four children Mrs Babe CAMPBELL Mrs James FOSTER
Mr Ed ALLMAN and Eustice who preceded her to the grave 21 years to the
day. Minnie Etta and Ed ALLMAN remain besides a host of relatives
and friends and one sister to morn her death she professed faith In
Crist In early life and united with thompson Creek babtist Church of
which she remained a true member never tiring worker untill death
Sister ALLMAN was a noble and cind wife and mother to know her was to
love her she alwayes tried to scatter sunshine every where she went
comforting and cheering insted of scattering sorrow each day she had a
cind and pleasant smile for everyone alwayes lending a helping hand to
those in need he life has bee!
n as beautiful as the flowers which are the hand work of god who
sent his angel to carry her spirit to him from whence it came only to
wait the Judgement day when she will be united with loved ones gone
before to the beloved husband we will say weep not while to us and her
church it is a sad and bitter loss but hers will be heavens gained To
the children a kind and affectionate hand has gone while in this world
we stay but mother is watching from the Portals on high with
outstretched arms ready to welcome you home children live as mama has
lived and taught you to live and one day be prepared to meet her in
that home on high to clasp glad hands where tears and farwells are no
more
