Christmas Day night, 1977, proved to be both a tragedy and, in a way, a blessing for the members of the Greenfield Church. A tragedy that the sixty-eight year old church burned to the ground and a blessing that it pulled the members together in a way they had never been before. A new, more modern church building was built. It was ready for Consecration Services May 18, 1980. This is the present day church building. |
