The High Funeral Home Collection is a joint effort between the Warren County Genealogical and Historical Association (WCGHA) and High Funeral Home to offer access to records beginning as early as 1889.\u00a0 These records contain both ledger and death records beginning in 1933. These records may contain a variety of information such as date of death, cause of death, age (or birth date), place of death, burial location, family members, minister, doctor, etc.\u00a0 Early ledger information is often sparse.<\/p>\r\n
High Funeral Home was established in 1925 by John Winston High and is the oldest funeral home currently in operation in Warren County.\u00a0 Records date back to the Lively Furniture Company where Mr. High began his career in the funeral service in McMinnville.\u00a0 These records were used extensively to produce the Warren County Cemetery Books and have provided local researchers with a wealth of information through the years. \u00a0<\/p>\r\n
