The Cemeteries of Warren County Project was developed to provide an accurate list of the cemeteries in Warren County.\u00a0 The project will consist of developing folders for each cemetery, providing accurate names, cross-references for multiple names, provide accurate location of cemeteries to include GPS locations and driving instructions.\u00a0 GPS locations will enable us to develop accurate mapping of the cemeteries in Warren County.\u00a0 Each folder will contain a cover sheet with basic information on the cemetery, an inventory sheet detailing all the items included in the folders.\u00a0 The information that will be collected includes but is not limited to: decoration days, contact individuals, deeds, newspaper articles, references to books, bulletins, and other publications about the cemetery, appraisals, plats, etc.<\/p>\r\n
Future plans include the development of a map of Warren County with all the cemetery locations identified.<\/p>\r\n
