He copies it and submitted a copy to the Wayne County Historical Society. Providence Baptist Church was the &#8220;mother church&#8221; of Memorial and Indian Creek Baptist Churches. Providence Baptist Church was active from before 1833 until 1909 when the church split; some of the members went to Memorial Church, while others started the Indian Creek Baptist Church at Three Churches.
