He is described as 6&#8217;1&#8243; tall with blue eyes, light hair and fair complexion and by occupation a farmer. He was discharged at Camp Jackson, South Carolina on 13 July 1918. He died 16 April 1955 and is buried at Prater&#8217;s Chapel Cemetery, Wayne Co., Tennessee.
