He was the son of Bert B. DODD; his mother&#8217;s name is not known. He married Mary E. MORGAN and they had one son. They are all buried at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Cypress Inn, Wayne Co., TN.<\/p>\n<p>He enlisted under serial number 3496757 as a Pvt. in Co. L, 306th Infantry. He was discharged at Fort Oglethorpe, GA on the 20th May 1919. He is described as being 5&#8217;11&#8221; tall, dark complexion, brown hair, and blue eyes. He served with the American Expeditionary Forces from Aug. 1918 until 8 May 1919.
