The Shields Cemetery lies just south of Waynesboro, Tennessee. To reach the cemetery, travel south from Waynesboro on State Highway #13. Turn left (east) onto Green River Access Rd. beside the Green River Baptist Church. Travel 3 tenths of a mile and turn right at the cemetery sign. Go about 1 tenth mile to the cemetery. The cemetery is surrounded by a chain link fence and the grounds are well maintained. This survey was completed May 21, 2008. Updated 31 October 2011.<\/span><\/p>\n
