To reach the Mt. Hope Christian\/Methodist Cemetery, travel north from the courthouse square in Waynesboro on TN Hwy. 13 for 1.6 miles. Turn right (east) onto Mt. Hope Rd. crossing the Arthur C. Skelton Memorial bridge. Continue on this road as the road goes to your left. Travel about .7 miles. Turn on a concrete drive to the left at the crest of a hill across the road from Mt. Hope United Methodist Church. This portion is Section 129B. The section behind the old Mt. Hope Christian Church building is 129A. Both sections have been incorporated into one alphabetical listing. The land for the Mt. Hope United Methodist Church portion of the cemetery was donated by the Christian family in 1940.<\/span><\/p>\n
