Location: Inside the corporate limits of the City of Clifton on Carroll Street. The cemetery is located on the north side of the street.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lizard Glade is the black cemetery in Clifton, probably the oldest separate black cemetery in Wayne County. The Cemetery is also called Lizard Lake on some death certificates. There are between 150 and 200 graves marked with field stones and perhaps as many more with no markings at all.<\/span><\/p>\n
