The following is a summary of information taken from the family records in the family Bibles of Jefferson Riley Green and of Mrs. Martha Jane Green, now in the possession of Mrs. Mabel Green Lindsey, Parkes Ave., Lawrenceburg, Tenn., supplemented by information given by Jefferson Riley Green and his daughter, Mrs. Mable Green Lindsey on February 1 and 3, 1954.

Mabel Drucilla Green, born Aug. 14, 1896, at Lawrenceburg, Tenn.
Fitzhugh Carl O’Neal, born Mar. 30, 1890, in Knox County, near Knoxville, Tenn.
Fitzhugh Carl O’Neal and Mabel Drucilla Green were married Mar. 25, 1918 at Lawrenceburg, Tenn.
Fitzhugh Carl O’Neal died Feb 12, 1928 at Knoxville, Tenn., and was buried in Old Gray Cemetery at Knoxville, Tenn.

They advised that parents of Jefferson Riley Green were Lewellyn Green, usually called “Cooch”, and his wife Elizabeth (Roberts) Green; that “Cooch” Green died when Jefferson Riley Green was very young, and is buried near the Pulaski Road, about four miles east of Lawrenceburg; and after “Cooch” Green’s death, his widow married Sam Beckham.
