The Gallaher Cemetery is located east of the Natchez Trace Parkway northeast of Collinwood, Tennessee. To reach the cemetery turn east off the parkway just south of the Lower Glenrock rest area. Turn onto Glen Rock Rd. aka (Factory Creek Rd.) (Co. Rd. 1767 and travel 1 mile. The cemetery is on the left of the road. There are about one half dozen unknown graves here. One grave has a stone with what appears to have information etched into the stone, however it is not legible. This enumeration is current as of 10 May 2012.

Bethlehem Cemetery

The Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery is located on California Branch Road in Wayne County, Tennessee just west of the Lawrence County, TN line. There are numerous unknown graves here.

To reach the cemetery, travel west from Wayland Springs Road near West Point, Tennessee on Collinwood Road/California Branch Road for approximately 3.5 miles. Or, from Collinwood, Tennessee, travel Railroad Bed Rd. east for approximately 4.5 miles and turn left onto California Branch Rd. Go approximately 4.7 miles to the cemetery on the left beside the church.

According to Rhonda Savoy in a message dated 19 Feb 2002,

“In the back corner by the “hollow” are three graves marked with field stones, these are John Wesley Ricketts, Jesse Ricketts and unnamed infant Ricketts (born and died 1 April 1917), Children of Jeff D. Ricketts and Tinnie Gamble (Gambrell) Ricketts. These are the brothers of my Grandmother. She and her sister took my to the cemetery in the 80’s to show me where these graves were.”

LOCATION: To reach the Balentine Cemetery, turn off the Natchez Trace Parkway ¼ mile north of the Alabama Tennessee state line onto Cooper Ridge Road. Keep right and travel 6/10 of a mile and bear to the left. A sign points the way. Go approximately 1 mile to the cemetery on the left.

Additional information provided by Grace Wright Carver. Mrs. Carver stated, “There are graves lost in this cemetery. I attended the funeral for Bell Cooper, but no grave marker was erected.”

Mitchell, Mr. and Mrs. Jim (James M. Mitchell and Eliza C. Balentine) 26 Dec 1869. (I don’t know if this is the right one. I think he drowned in Big Cypress Creek near Hyde’s Chapel.)

Additional information provided by Grace Wright Carver. Mrs. Carver stated, “There are graves lost in this cemetery. I attended the funeral for Bell Cooper, but no grave marker was erected.” I think he drowned in Big Cypress Creek near Hyde’s Chapel.

 The Bawcom Cemetery lies in the Beech Creek area of Wayne Co. The cemetery also has various spellings of the name. Spellings include “Bawcom”, “Balcom”, & “Baucham”. To reach the cemetery, travel north from the courthouse square in Waynesboro on Highway 13N. Turn left onto highway 228 (Beech Creek Rd.). Travel 2.9 miles and turn left crossing the Colvert Holt Memorial bridge. Turn right at the stop sign and proceed past the Old Union Church. Turn right at the next stop sign & travel .8 mile to the cemetery. This is a very narrow road with hills & curves. This cemetery has several graves marked only with fieldstones with no information. Some of these may be the reason for the cemetery name.
