Crossno Cemetery #237 (Perry County, Tennessee)

LOCATION: On the hill to the east of Highway 228, about three-quarters of a mile south of the site of Whiteoak Church.

CROSSNOE, Robert E., 11 Dec 1896 – 19 Oct 1918. He died on a troop ship on his way overseas in World War I.
William Henry CROSSNOE’s first wife is buried here. They were the parents of Robert E. There are four cairns and 50 to 60 field stone marked graves here.

There are several field stones here that have no inscriptions. There are nine crypts with no identification. Louise RILEY who married Shaver BROMLEY and died in childbirth was buried in this cemetery about 1940.
