2nd Tennessee Mounted Infantry – Staff Roster

Field and Staff Officers

Transcribed and edited by Edgar D. Byler, III

The following rosters of the Field and Staff Officers and companies of the 2nd Tennessee Mounted Infantry are transcribed from Report of the Adjutant General of the State of Tennessee of the Military Forces of the State from 1861 to 1866 published by the State of Tennessee in 1866. S.C. MERCER, Printer to the State. They are transcribed and published here because these rosters are more complete than the Official Rosters of the unit on file at the National Archives, Washington, D.C. All information for each individual is transcribed exactly as it was published. Remarks were originally listed in a column adjacent the name. The order of the individual’s name has been reversed from what appeared in the original, so that the last name appears first. When information in a specific column for the individual is not given the notation [n.g.] will appear.
