As late as the mid \u2013 1940\u2019s there was a small cemetery located here in a grove of trees. The land has now been cleared and a home built there. The builder has no knowledge of a cemetery at this location. Mary H. McCown says that it was probably a Carruthers Family Cemetery, as this was their land.
