Established in the 1890\u2019s by Nathan Shipley and discontinued about the same time. There are 3 graves \u2013 Shipley and CAMPBELL. Jonesboro 15th district.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif\"><u><b>DEEDS<\/b><\/u><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif\"> \u2013 Specific deeds will not be listed here, however, the Shipley land holdings ranged from the northwest corner of Jonesborough proper, out to Stuart\u2019s Hill. The holdings were on both sides of the present State Route 81 running northwest from Jonesborough towards Fairview. This area is now substantially developed.<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: large\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><u><b>BURIALS<\/b><\/u><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"> \u2013Elizabeth (Bettie) and William Campbell are probably the Campbells mentioned. The Shipley is unknown, however, a marker for Arthur Shipley (died 1877), son of Elbert A &amp; Jennie Shipley is found at Maple Lawn. Maple Lawn was not established for another 10 to 12 years. It is possible, but unproven, that Albert was moved to Maple Lawn.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\">Surveyed, transcribed and donated to the Washington County TNGen Web November 2015 by Gordon M.
