Deed research confirmed that Solomon Garber owned the subject area using metes &amp; bounds and an overlay to the current tax map. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Another unconfirmed note suggests that a couple members of the Brubaker family may be buried there. The Joseph Brubaker 451 acre parcel had a small shared property line with the Garber tract. No other evidence has been found to support this, however.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">A physical inspection in 2015 found no markers or planted fieldstones. The area was not completely overgrown, however, enough growth existed to hide any visible depressions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><u>LOCATION<\/u><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"> \u2013<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Off John Carson Road about \u00bd mile from the intersection of Old Stagecoach Road. It is under a very large oak tree on a hill by a fence line on the left side of the road heading south. The area is on the old John Carson Farm between Leesburg and Bowmantown, Tennessee. It is on the northwestern corner of Washington County tax parcel 066-017.00<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><u>GPS Location:<\/u><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"> +36\u00b0 16.910, -82\u00b0 34.080<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;font-size: 14pt\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\"><u>DEEDS<\/u><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong> \u2013<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">Deed Book 34, Page 392 (1854) \u2013 Solomon Garber to John R. Carson<br \/>\nDeed Book 34, Page 60 (1853) \u2013 Joseph Brubaker to Drury Morrow \u2013 451 acres. This parcel was west of John Carson (also known as Morelock) Road. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;font-size: 14pt\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\"><u>BURIALS<\/u><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong> \u2013<\/strong> Unknown. All the tombstones have been removed many years ago. Approximately 10 graves were found.<br \/>\nFrom the descendant \u2013 Solomon Garber born 1785 and died unknown. This has not been confirmed by any other source.
