J. Miller farm, located below Clark\u2019s Creek and on Hwy 107.\u201d<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: large\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">From a recollection by Winnie Ratliff \u2013<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: 14pt\">\u201c\u2026\u2026\u2026<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,sans-serif\"><i>Sally\u2019s husband Joe is buried on the opposite ridge towards Bumpass Cove.\u201d<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">During a conversation with Harrison Miller, son of Everitt J. Miller and current owner of the subject farm, he recalled hearing of a grave on the farm, on the south side of highway 107, however, he did not know where it may be located, or who may have been buried there. The property is too large and rugged to perform a random search.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The ridge at the southern end of the E. J. Miller farm would not be the same ridge as the one towards Bumpus Cove. It appears, at least for the present, that the existence and location of any grave(s) on the southern portion of the E. J. Miller farm have escaped detection.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,sans-serif\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-size: large\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">This entry is clearly about a separate burial ground than the Henderson Clark graveyard, which is located on the northern side of highway 107 on the Miller farm.<\/span> <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\">Researched and donated to the Washington County TNGen Web September 2015 by Gordon M.
