Boones Creek Historical Trust<\/a>\u00a0–<\/span><\/strong> Chartered in 1988, the Boones Creek Historical Trust promotes the history of the Boones Creek Community and preserves historical information, artifacts, and antiques that reflect of their heritage.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Fall Branch Historical Society<\/a> – <\/span><\/span><\/strong>The Society promotes preservation and restoration of the historic sites in the Fall Branch Community<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Friends of the Washington County Tennessee\u00a0 Archives <\/span><\/strong><\/a>– \"Friends<\/a>Friends of the Archives support the Washington County Archives by working with the County Records Commission and assists the County Archivist through volunteerism and support funds.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Heritage Alliance<\/a>\u00a0–\u00a0<\/strong>The Heritage Alliance is dedicated to the preservation of the architectural, historical, and cultural heritage of the region and to providing educational experiences related to history and heritage for a wide range of audiences. It\u00a0combines historic preservation with history education. \u00a0They\u00a0providing technical support for the preservation of the region\u2019s architecture.<\/p>\n

The Jonesborough Genealogical Society (JGS) and the Washington County Historical Association meet at the Washington County Washington County – Jonesborough Library on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m.<\/p>\n

The JGS also has a “Genealogy Day” on the 4th Saturday of each month from January to October at the Washington County-Jonesborough Library.<\/p>\n

Membership: $5.00 per year payable to JGS, every year on May 1.<\/p>\n

The Association meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m., in the Community Room of the Johnson City Public Library, 100 Millard Street, Johnson City, TN.<\/p>\n

In April and October the Association publishes the Bulletin<\/em>, which focuses on copies and abstracts of original source materials relating to Tennessee and adjacent areas. Contents of the Bulletin<\/em> <\/a>are found on the WAGS website<\/p>\n

\nAnnually $18\/yr. payable to WAGS not later than January 1 of each calendar year.<\/span>
\nEach member is entitled to one query each issue. No query space for non-members.<\/span><\/p>\n
