Information used with the permission of Lorraine Bennett Rae.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n From volume 2, page 90 \u2013 entry 29<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThese two graves were found in a pine thicket in the gap of the ridge where the waters of Bacon\u2019s Branch of Little Limestone Creek divide from the waters of Booth\u2019s Branch of Cherokee Creek. They were about one hundred yards from the road crossing the gap, and on the South side of the road. There were signs of other graves, however, only two were found with legible markers. Bennett, Jan 14, 1960.\u201d<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n LOCATION<\/b><\/u><\/span> \u2013 This location would be on Washington County tax parcel 075-043.00 and has been cleared in recent years. A nearby neighbor provided a clear description, having grown up there and remembered seeing the large marker and a few others many years ago.
