There are a total of eighty-seven such entries. The first entry for Thomas Huddleston is transcribed exactly as written as an example, as the format is almost identical for all other entries. One exception is for soldiers who were discharged by a \u201cSurgeon\u2019s Certificate of Disability.\u201d For the sake of space, the registration information at the bottom of each page, which contains no personal information, has been omitted. The remaining entries will be abstracts only and spelling mistakes have been corrected, except for proper names.<\/p>\n<p>Washington County, Tennessee Deed Book 40, page 1<\/p>\n<p>To all whom it may concern<\/p>\n<p>Know ye, that Thomas L. Infantry, Volunteers, who was enroled [sic] on the first day of January one thousand eight hundred and Sixty Five to serve one year or during war, is hereby Discharged from the service of the United States, this 27 day of July 1865 at Nashville, Tennessee in accordance with S.
