Miller (Jeremiah) Cemetery

Located behind 129 Bill Jones Road, Jonesborough, Tennessee (Garbers Community). The markers are between a shed and grove of trees. All markers are on the ground and some covered with soil. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

GPS location: 36\u00b013.705N 82\u00b027.111W<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Cattle are in the field, so permission must be obtained before going to the cemetery.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jeremiah was the son of John \u201cJack\u201d Miller, Jr. and Mary Killey, daughter of Kinchen Killey and Elizabeth Hammer.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jeremiah Miller married Sarah Keplinger 13 Sep 1849 by Worley Embree, Washington County, Tennessee.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jeremiah was a trustee of the Cherokee Seminary in the 1860’s. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
