The cemetery is overgrown and in need of attention. There were at least 5 fieldstones marking graves and obvious unmarked graves. Died: Two miles north of this place last Thursday, Mrs. Elizabeth Keys, widow of the late John Keys, of paralysis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: verdana,geneva\"><i><b>Jonesboro Herald-Tribun<\/b><\/i><i>e V. XXIV #9, June 2, 1892<\/i>. Death: Mrs. Minerva Myers, two miles northeast of town, died Wednesday morning at 1 o&#8217;clock and was buried on the Keener farm Wed. afternoon.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: verdana,geneva\"><i><b>Jonesboro Herald-Tribune<\/b><\/i> <i>V. XXXIII #30, November 13, 1901<\/i>. In Memoriam: John Elery Depew was born in Washington County, Tenn., April 15, 1872; and died in Amarillo, Texas, October 18, 1901, age 29 years, 6 months and 3 days. He was converted at the age of 21 at Marvin Chapel, a church near his home, he went and joined the United Presbyterian Church. He was a fireman on a freight train at his death, being killed in a freak accident from a wreck. He leaves a father, mother, two brothers and one sister.
