BARLOW FAMILY by Rosa Lee Russell.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>Joseph M. Barlow married Ann Tipton, February 3, 1870 in Washington County. They are buried in the Barlow Cemetery (off Hairtown Raod), Jonesborough. They became the parents of eight children: Warren, Charlie, James (1882-1963), William Hammer Nesbert &#8220;Nez&#8221; (1886-1963), Alice, Cordie (lived in the Barlow home &#8211; not sure of her relationship), and twins Martin C. (1890- 1926) and Joseph Harrison (1890-1969). Joseph&#8217;s sister Amanda married Thomas Lilly in 1869 and had a son Joseph E. Lilly (1869-1938).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>Martin C. the twin of Joseph was only thirty-five years old when he died. He married Ann Hashbarger in 1919. They had three children: Edith (1820-1986), Frank (1922), and Alice Fern (1823-1926). Martin was buried in the Barlow Cemetery.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: small\">Surveyed, transcribed and donated to the Washington County TNGen Web 2003 by Elaine Scott Cantrell, Donna Briggs Cox and Betty Jane Hylton members of the Cemetery Survey Team of Northeast Tennessee. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: small\"><b>Copyrighted 2013 by the Cemetery Survey Team of Northeast Tennessee.
