Located north of the Jonesborough to Johnson City Highway near the 11-E Motel. Copied Feb. 3, 1962 by Charles M. Bennett. There were a few unmarked graves and a few with field stones.<\/p>\n

According to a descendant of a former owner of the land surrounding the cemetery, Marteen Forbes, 1920 \u2013 1929 was buried there but was moved to Happy Valley Cemetery in Elizabethton. She died from a dog bite. She was the daughter of W.M. Forbes, 1876 \u2013 1949 and Etta B. Forbes, 1882-1960.<\/p>\n
The cemetery is located under the parking area at 3406 W. Market St., Johnson City, TN.<\/p>\n
