From History of Washington County Tennessee, 1988<\/i>, p.432:<\/span><\/p>\n

John Miller from Rockingham County, Virginia bought land in Washington County, TN 1788. In 1789 he married Caty Boughman and they live on Knob Creek. Their children were Jacob, Samuel, Solomon, Mary, Susannah, Sarah, Joseph, John, Jr., Henry, George, Margaret, Abraham, and Catherine.<\/span><\/p>\n

Solomon Miller (1792 \u2013 1875) married Mary Ellis (1797-1870). Solomon\u2019s children were Mary, Sarah, Shelpherd B., Solomon, Jr., Rebecca and Henry. Solomon Miller married first Barsheba Reasoner, April 22, 1813, Carter County, TN,. daughter of Garrett Reasoner.<\/span><\/p>\n
