Two tombstones are located under a cedar tree near the pond to the left of the house at 632 Hales Chapel Road, Jonesborough. The burials are located to the right of the house near the intersection of Shaddon Road and Hales Chapel Road \u2013 Keebler’s Crossroads. The exact location of the graves could not be determined since the tombstones had been moved. Their children: Rector, Malinda, Oziah, Sally. Mary, James Jr., Enoch. After her death, he married Sarah Haws (1795-1888). Their children: Catharine (1829- ), Volentine (1830- ), John A. (1831-1907), Benjamine (1836-1923), Sarah (unmarried) (1839-1913), James and Sarah lived in Buffalo Ridge or Keeblers’ Cross Roads. All their children born there. Their beautiful old brick home built in 1842 is still there.<\/span><\/p>\n From Washington County, Tennessee Tombstone Inscriptions<\/i> by Charles M. There were only two legible stones. Copied November 1, 1957 by Charles M. Bennett.<\/span><\/p>\n WCCL*: Established about 1857 by James Keebler, a soldier in the War of 1812, who is buried here.
