Issac Hartsell Property Cemetery

The cemetery is located on Louise Harrell’s property, 113 Oliver Edwards Road, Jonesborough, Tennessee. It is approximately 100 x 140 feet covered in vinca vine. A cemetery this large might have been a community burying ground or affiliated with a church. It is on a hill behind the Old Isaac Hartsell Mill.<\/span><\/p>\n

Permission to enter this cemetery should be obtained from Mrs. Louise Hartsell.<\/span><\/p>\n

GPS Location: 36.14.177N 082.26.493W; Elevation: 1469 feet.<\/span><\/p>\n

Only two markers of fieldstones remain. One has an inscription:<\/span><\/p>\n
