Turn left beside the barn. The cemetery is 1\/10<sup>th<\/sup> of a mile through the field. A chain link fence surrounds the cemetery. Galloway Shipley (Mrs. Walter).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: large\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Deed Book 137, Page 16 (1919) \u2013 95 acre share assigned to Clyde Galloway.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: large\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Ailie and Clyde were the children of Jesse B. Galloway. Jesse had inherited the entire parcel of approximately 198 acres from his father, Isaac Galloway. The share allocated to Ailie is the parcel that contains the subject burial ground. Both of the above deeds were silent on the graveyard.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: large\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Deed Book 154, Page 356 (1922) \u2013 Ailie, joined by her husband Walter, conveyed the 103 acres to Robert A. Cox. This deed contains the following provision. \u201cWe also retain a right of way from the public road to the Grave yard lot. The said Lot as now fenced or enclosed, is excepted from this conveyance.\u201d <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: large\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The property remained in Robert A. Cox and heirs until 2006 when it was purchased and subsequently subdivided into what is now known as Cambridge Grove. The graveyard is shown as Washington County tax parcel 027JB019.00 on Waverly Court and although shown in the developer\u2019s name, no deed has been found to divest title out of Ailie Galloway Shipley.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Deed research donated to the Washington County TNGen Web August 2016 by Gordon M.
