Follow the old dirt road up the hill. Traveling from Johnson City on Hwy. 67 (Cherokee Rd.), turn left on Lone Oak Road at the Cherokee Elementary School. Pass the Lone Oak Christian Church. Lone Oak changes to Dry Creek Road at the intersection of Sinking Creek Road. Turn right into the new Sea Biscuit subdivision. At the end of the now unnamed street, look to the left at the TVA power lines running north. The cemetery is located about 100 feet from the power lines in a wooded area. Turn off Dry Creek Road onto Jim McNeese Road. Park at the end of the road and cross the fence to the TVA Power Lines running north. Follow the old dirt road bed up the hill. The cemetery is on the right at the top of the hill in a wooded area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium; font-family: verdana,geneva;\">GPS Location: 36.16.252N\u00a0 082.22.250W; Elevation: 1938 ft.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Only fieldstones mark the graves.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Surveyed, transcribed and donated to the Washington County TNGen Web June 2008 by Elaine Cantrell, Charles Denton, Robert France, Ila Hamilton, Betty Jane &amp; Robert Hylton membes of the Cemetery Survey Team of Northeast Tennessee. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><b>Copyrighted 2011 by the Cemetery Survey Team of Northeast Tennessee. Francis parents were:<\/p>\n<p>Daniel Francis, born 1797, died after 02 Jun1880 in Washington County, Tennessee<br \/>\nMarried 15 Feb 1829 to<br \/>\nMartha Gervin, born 1804, died between 30 Jul 1870 and 02 Jun 1880<\/p>\n<p><!--\n@page { margin: 0.79in }\nP { margin-bottom: 0.08in }\n-->Note: Their children: 1. James P. 1826-after 1885, married Nancy Barlow; 2. William B. 1831; 3. John G. 1833; 4. Jacob H. 1837; 5. Evelina 1841; 6. Robert 1842.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel was son of John Francis (1767 Maryland, he died Dec. 29, 1826). Children: 1. Daniel 1797 m. Feb 15, 1829 Martha Girvin 1804; 2. Ephrian 1800 married March 19, 1820 Ann Andes 1796; 3. Agnes married Oct. 24, 1821 Henry Jones; 4. William Nov 4, 1810-Aug 22, 1894 married? Apr 15, 1832 Waynesville, NC; 5.
