Urbana Cemetery Gazebo<\/p><\/div>\n

Located at the corner of Big Limestone Road and Urbana Road, Limestone, TN<\/p>\n

Decoration Day is held on the third Saturday of May each year.<\/p>\n

The gazebo sits on the foundation of the Old Urbana Methodist Church building. Urbana Methodist Church was founded in 1817 (which later became Limestone Methodist Church and moved from this location).<\/p>\n

The history of the cemetery can be found on the pillars of the two gates to the cemetery.<\/p>\n

In Memory of George Washington Nelson who gave the original three acres for Urbana Cemetery 1856.<\/p>\n

Erected 1963 by Urbana Cemetery Association.<\/p>\n
