Located in a lot beside 903 Lincoln Avenue, Johnson City, TN. Lincoln Avenue is<\/span> west off of Knob Creek Road. The two tombstones are surrounded with an iron fence. Both markers are broken.<\/span><\/p>\n

Note – Clark descendants have provided the following information:<\/p>\n

Daniel Clark and his brother, Jacob, owned 354 1\/2 acres of this Western Johnson City land from 1851 to 1904 when the Daniel Clark land was sold. None of the Jacob Clark land was sold until 1920.<\/p>\n

Just a few years ago, there were at least ten other stones but these are gone now. Others buried there included: Blevins, Pippin, and Mitchell. One of these is Loretta Clark Blevins, dau. of Jacob and Sarah Bowman Clark. Also, there are two graves of Confederate soldiers – names unknown.<\/p>\n

These members of the same Clark family are buried at Monte Vista:<\/p>\n
