Bowers Family Cemetery
2003<\/p><\/div>\n

Located off the Boones Creek Rd. [Hwy. 354] Johnson City, TN, turn opposite mailbox 3030, in front of a new commercial building. The building does not have a number and the lane leading up to it does not have a name. The retaining walls are approximately 3 1\/2 feet high. Well kept and landscaped.<\/span><\/p>\n

p. 75: The following stone was lying on a stump in Mr. Kirkpatrick\u2019s back yard and was badly broken. It had been brought from the old cemetery, which was in the front yard of the house built by B.G. Young [3120 Boones Creek Rd.] on the opposite side of the road and a few hundred yards northeast.<\/p>\n

Henry Bowers, departed this life March 28, 1818, age 45y 8m 16d (His will probated April 1818 names wife, Nancy; sons, Levi, Joshua, Abraham, Laurance; daughter, Leah.<\/p>\n
