Harris, who is buried at Uriel Cemetery: From <em>Washington County Tennessee Wills 1777-1872<\/em> by Goldene Burgner, p.40: Father Ragan&#8217;s grave to be finished and my father&#8217;s and mother&#8217;s grave on the old place to be walled as I have directed at the expense of my estate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva\">The <em>Washington County Check List<\/em>: On Ellis Butler farm. This cemetery is in the garden just back of the house. Benjamin Harris was a Revolutionary Soldier, and his grave is being marked by the John Sevier Chapter, NSDAR on 19 October 1956. Benjamin was born 1742, died 1820; his wife, Jane Crampton Harris, born 1746, died 1828 is buried in this plot, and also a sister of hers; there are also slaves buried here.
