Am researching Isaac Crouch, b. before June, 1838 in TN; marr. 20 July 1865, in Lincoln Co., TN (1st) Elizabeth J. Lovelace, b. 1846; they had the following children: Esterly CROUCH, b. 1867; Elisha CROUCH, b. 1868; Mary A. (Clemmy) CROUCH, b. 1869; Johny CROUCH, b. abt. 1873. Would truly like to find out what happened to Elizabeth, because Isaac was in Fulton Co., AR, and married to Jane Letticia Chesnut in 1874. Isaac died 6 June 1874 in Fulton Co., AR, and in his will he specifically requests that his 4 children be sent to their grandfathers (William CROUCH in Grundy Co., TN). Can anyone help me with his first wife, Elizabeth, or with any of the children from this first marriage???? Isaac was also in Co. A, 1 (Turney's) Tennessee Infantry, Confederate, during the Civil War and would like to find out about Capt. Alexander E. Patton's Co. 1 Regiment Tennessee Inf. if anyone can help. THANKS!!!!!

I am looking for information on Robert Newton COONROD, born in 1831, married 10-31-1854 in Warren County. His wife's name was Margaret BONNER, born 3-3-1835. About 1871 Robert moved his family from Tennessee to Arkansas, and changed their name to Conrad. Robert served in the Civil War, was a POW at Rock Island Prison, and for some reason was denied a pension later. I don't have any information on his parents. I am looking for any records on brothers Jonathan and Edmond Ellis who resided in Warren County in the early 1800's. They came from South Carolina, and were apparently in Warren County by 1805. Jonathan Ellis married Celia Bryant around 1810. On May 13, 1813, at McMinnville, Jonathan Ellis enlisted in the 24th Regiment of the Tenn. Infantry, therafter transferring to the 1st Rifle Reg. He was discharged on June 10, 1815. Ellis received a land bounty in southern Illinois for his service, and he and Edmond apparently left Warren County for southern Illinois soon after 1815. I am looking for my wife's ggggrandfather Hiram Payne. Hiram came to Alabama and died about 1825 wer'e not really sure about his death because we can't find where he is buried. He was married to Mariah Blackburn. She is buried in Perry Co. Alabama. One spelling of his first name is Hyram. He is not buried with Mariah. Jonathan Dennis, Warren County, Tennessee, b.1-31-1799. Spoke with a thick Irish brogue all his life. His younger brother was born in U>S> I think. Jonathan's younger brother was born 12-10-1810, in Warren County, TN. Grew up to be a founder of Bell Co. in Texas (1848). I have not been able to identify the parents of these boys. I have Lee County Gibbs named Michael, John, Matthew who leave Lee Co. at various times in the pre-1830 period and I do not know where they went. My ancestor James settled in Claiborne County, and later moved to Missouri.
