HALEY
Altemira Haley was living as a farm servant for John
Harrison in 1870. She had her son Monroe Haley age 5 with her.
The 1860 cen shows her living with a son James, age 3 and
daughter Martha 10/12. According to census records her birth is
given as 1834. What I need is her husband's name, and her maiden
name. Monroe was the father of George Haley of Haley Nursery.
The 1860 and 1870 census has several Haley families in Warren
County at the time The data on Altemira Haley comes from DeKalb
County. I can use some help on this one.

WILLIAMS, John Jefferson: b. 10 Nov. 1792 in SC, married Nancy Bowles in
1813 or 1819 in Warren Co., TN and died 17 Nov. 1874 in MO. Their son,
and my direct line, was John C. Williams, b. 25 July 1825 in Warren Co.,
married Malinda Jacobs of KY 4 Feb. 1847 in MO and died 20 April 1898 in
MO. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

WOLF, ANNIS,
I need info on Nancy? Wolf's maiden name. I know her family was Scotch
and her mother's name may have been Annis. It is a rare Scotch name and
it runs through my family line. So if there is anyone who has a woman
ancestor name Annis who resided on the North Fork of the Holston near the
Sullivan- Hawkins Cty line and Scott/Washington Cty, Va around 1790-1820,
please contact me. I am running out of clues as to who Nancy ? WOLF'S
was. Her daughter Annis Wolf Faulkner was born in Scott Cty, Va in 1806.
The Wolf family moved to Warren Cty, Tenn around 1817 according to Wolf V
Wolfe.

Warren Co. Did Rachel marry John Stotts? The Lynn family also lived in
Coffee, Cannon, Giles, Lincoln, Bedford, and other central TN. Counties. Some
descendants of this family still live in TN, some moved to TX,in about 1878 and some moved to Arkansas about the same time. Some moved to Mississippi.
I have a great deal of information and would be glad to exchange information with members of this family.

Martha Bell marr. George Henry Owens. Family was found in 1850

were in Texas, but returned to Warren Co., later moving to Ala.

Sarah Combs, born 1779, NC, d 1828 Warren Co, TN). Was Meshack Hicks,
born pre-1775, kin to Robert Hicks who married Winnifred Combs (Sumner)
pre-1796 in East TN? Was Ransom Givin kin to either Samuel Givin, named
in the 1825 Perry Co, KY pension declaration of RW John Combs, or the
Jenny Givins named in the 1859 records of Overton/Fentress TN records in
reference to John and Green Combs? Was Lewis Hammack kin to Benedict
Hammock of Wilkes GA who named a daughter, Elizabeth Combs Hammock? Was Simon Banks kin to either the Samuel Banks on the 1830 Warren TN census,
same page as a John Banks, and/or to the Samuel Banks on the 1850 Madison
Co, AR Census whose HH included John Combs, age 15? Note: Not on the 1820

I am searching Warren and White counties for any information on
James Wiggins who served in the Civil War from White County.
His wife was Mary Elizabeth Taylor. She was the daughter of
William and Jane Taylor. William died in 1850. William was the
son of James Taylor and Rachel Rayburn Taylor. James Taylor was
the son of Thomas Taylor. Thomas was in White county by 1820.
James Wiggins was possibly the son of Joseph Wiggins from
Warren County. Any information of the Taylor or Wiggins lines
would be greatly appreciated.

Gipson (Miller) Cunningham were married in Warren Co on
7 Nov 1853. Greenberry was b. 25 Aug 1831 in TN; d. 29 Sep 1878
in Warren Co, TN. Margaret was b. 15 Aug 1835 in TN; d. 5 Feb
1905 in Dade Co, MO.
Their daughter, Sarah Jane (Cunningham) Ritchey was b.
12 Oct 1854 in Warren Co, TN. She married William Neely Ritchey
on 16 Nov 1875 in Warren Co, TN. Sarah d. 24 Oct 1884 in
Dade Co, MO. William Neely Ritchey, son of David Levander

Levi Rogers born 1775 possibly in Chatham County North Carolina. Married about 1794 to Sarah Cope. Levi died in June 1850 (Irving College,
Warren County TN) He is buried in Blue Spring Baptist Church Cemetery,
Viola, TN. He settled in Rogers Hollow, Warren County TN. His children
were: Joshia, Mary, John, Enoch, Elijah (my great grandfather), Reece,
Levi Jr., Celia, Cyrene and Jacob. His father was Josiah and he was
married to Frances?. I would like any information about this family that
anyone might have. I will also be glad to share any info that I have. I
have this line back to England in the 1600 to the present. But there a
still holes that I would like to fill.

James Wilson from Warren County TN. Married Elizabeth Dial
(Dyal) and then married Mary Bradley.
James had several children from each marriage. Was said to be a slave
owner. My great great grandfather William
Hunt Wilson was his son and left home after James sold his best friend.
He never returned. We have over 80 living
descendants from James. Please e-mail if you can be any help or have any
information. James was born in 1792 but we
don't know where or who his father was.

Robert Boyd and Elizabeth, born in TN, about 1795 and 1796,
respectively. Their children were born in Warren County, TN. James
(b.1817) married to Peggy; Sarah (1820-1894) married to Shadrack
McCarver; David (b.1821) married to Emiline; John Boyd (1822-1909)
married to Pauline Adeline Johnson; and Isabel (b1830) married to
Nathaniel McCarver. Is there any information on this Boyd family. I

Jane Nicholson, born 24 May 1825 in McMinnville, Warren Co..
her parents were Thomas Nicholson and Elizabeth Bell. Nothing is
known about Jane's parents except their names. Thomas might have come
from Georgia and Elizabeth might be from South Carolina. Jane marr. John
Clayborn Jacobs in Pope Co., ILL. in 1852. They had 5 children; Armeda,
Sarah, John Linzy, Thomas, Adolphus. All born in Pope Co. Ill.. Jane died
5 Nov., 1917 in Kiowa, Kansas. If anyone has any information concerning
