Willow Branch – E. C. Betchel<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We were grieved to learn of the death of Mr. E.C. Betchel<\/strong>, which occurred last Wednesday, February 3, from pneumonia. He was ill but a short while. He is survived by his wife and three sons, Mr. Warren Betchel<\/strong> of Verona and two sons who live in South Dakota, who attended the burial, which took place at Union cemetery. In the passing of Mr. Betchel the community has lost a good man of refined character and high moral principals.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n The death angel claimed the beloved husband and father,\u00a0<\/b>Mr. Emanuel C. Betchel,<\/strong> on February 3, 1926, being 81 years and 9 months old. He professed faith in Christ many years ago and from that time up to his death lived a true Christian life. He will be missed in this community as well as in his home and church. He leaves a wife.,\u00a0Mrs. Lyles Betchel<\/strong>, and three sons, Messrs. Tom and Harry Betchel<\/strong> of Warren County. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Cooley<\/strong> and the body was laid to rest at New Union, under a mound of flowers to await the resurrection.<\/span><\/p>\n
