She was 82. <strong>Mrs. Benefield,<\/strong> the only daughter of the late <strong>Greer Woodlee<\/strong>, died at the home of her youngest daughter, <strong>Mrs. Henry DeBock,<\/strong> at Chico, Calif. Funeral services and burial took place there. The Warren county native was married to the late <strong>Chelius C. Benefield,<\/strong> former teacher, Warren county surveyor and superintendent of Tennessee coal mines. He preceded her in death two years ago. <strong>Mrs. Benefield<\/strong> is survived by three daughters, two sons, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Southern Standard, McMinnville, TN.
