Bell<\/strong>, 74, died Jan. 5 at V.A. Hospital in Nashville after an extended illness. A retired maintenance employee of Purity Dairies and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, he was the son of Millie and Marie Muncey Bell. He is survived by his wife, <strong>Helen Raymond Bell<\/strong> of Nashville; one daughter, <strong>Kathy Bell Barnes<\/strong> of Nashville; one son, <strong>Jimmy Turner<\/strong> of McMinnville; two grandsons, <strong>Stacy Turner<\/strong> of Rock Island and <strong>Jeremy Harrison<\/strong> of Murfreesboro; one granddaughter, <strong>Whitney Barnes<\/strong> of Nashville; one brother, <strong>Hoyt Bell<\/strong> of Springfield; and three sisters, <strong>Gladys Robinson<\/strong> of Springfield, <strong>Betty Witty<\/strong> of McMinnville, and <strong>Mary Ellen Reeves<\/strong> of Little Rock, Ark. Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at High&#8217;s Chapel with Dean Hahn officiating. Burial will follow at Bascom Cemetery.
