Fatally injured in the collision was <strong>Mrs. Martha Driver Barnes<\/strong>, 54, widow of <strong>John T. Barnes.<\/strong> She had made her home in Painesville for the past two years.\u00a0\u00a0 According to information received here., <strong>Mrs. Barnes<\/strong> was riding in a pickup truck with her daughter-in-law, <strong>Mrs. Doris Maynard Barnes<\/strong>, and a granddaughter, <strong>Janice Barnes<\/strong>, when the truck collided with the semi-trailer. <strong>Mrs. Barnes<\/strong> was killed instantly and the daughter-in-law and grand-daughter were injured and are now confined to Lake County Memorial Hospital in Painesville.\u00a0 The remains of Mrs. Barnes were returned here for burial, arriving Saturday evening at 8:30 o\u2019clock.\u00a0 Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o\u2019clock at Smyrna Church of Christ. <strong>T.F. Gilly<\/strong> officiated and burial was in Smyrna cemetery.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A native of Warren county,<strong> Mrs. Barnes<\/strong> was born September 18, 1898. She was married to Mr. Barnes, who died 12 years ago. <strong>Mrs. Barnes<\/strong> was a member of the Church of Christ.\u00a0 Survivors include two sons, <strong>Robert Barnes<\/strong>, Painesville, Ohio, and <strong>Clifford Barnes,<\/strong> Winter Garden, Fla.; four daughters, <strong>Misses Iona, Ruby, and Sylvia Barnes<\/strong>, Painesville, and <strong>Mrs. J.D. Hill<\/strong>, Winter Garden.\u00a0 Also six granchildren.
