(Wince) Barnes<\/b>, 80-year-old resident of Route 6, McMinnville, succumbed to an 18 month illness in Warren County General Hospital at 5:30 a.m Tuesday.\u00a0 A native of this county and member of the Church of Christ, the World War I veteran was married May 4, 1919 to the former <strong>Ruby Ware<\/strong>, who survives. He was a son of the late<strong> Irvin and Lucy Nunley Barnes<\/strong>. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, <strong>Mrs. Melba Hillis<\/strong>; a brother, <strong>Harris Barnes,<\/strong> both of this city; a sister, <strong>Mrs. Audrey Perry,<\/strong> Detroit, as well as three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. With <strong>T.F. Gilley<\/strong> and<strong> John W. High<\/strong> officiating, last rites were held in High&#8217;s chapel at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, interment following in Hebron cemetery.
