Bailey, were conducted Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o&#8217;clock at Blues Hill Church of Christ. J. R. Bailey, minister of West Riverside Church of Christ, and <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\">John W. High<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\"> officiated and burial was in Blues Hill cemetery.\u00a0 <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\">Mrs. Bailey<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\">, 70, died at the residence of her daughter, <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\">Mrs. Joe D. Ford<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\">, in the 6th district of Cannon county Tuesday evening at 11:55 o&#8217;clock. \u00a0She had been ill 14 weeks.\u00a0 A native of Fentress county, <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\">Mrs. Bailey<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\"> was born February 17, 1882.\u00a0 She was a daughter of <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\">Jerome Goff<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\"> and <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\">Josephine<\/strong><strong style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\">Newby Goff<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\"> and she was married to <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\">Mr. Bailey<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\"> in 1900. He died in 1938.\u00a0 <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\">Mrs. Bailey<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\"> was a member of the Church of Christ and had been a resident of Cannon County for a number of years.\u00a0 In addition to her daughter , she is survived by one son,<\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\"> Joe R. Bailey<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\">, Nashville; one brother, <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\">Emmett Goff<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\">, Murfreesboro; two sisters, <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\">Mrs. Lela Cope<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\"> and <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\">Mrs. Stella Campbell<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\">, Daylight. Also two grandchildren, <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\">Carol Lynn<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\"> and <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\">Phyllis Joan Bailey<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000; line-height: 1.714285714;\">, Nashville.
