He was 89. \u00a0Services were held at Bethlehem church in White county. <strong>Billy Norris<\/strong>, minister of the Sparta Church of Christ, officiated and burial was in the church cemetery. A native and lifelong resident of White county, <strong>Mr. Austin<\/strong> was born June 10, 1862. \u00a0He was a son of <strong>Edward Austin and Mary Lou Frazier Austin<\/strong>. He was married to <strong>Miss Carrie Haston<\/strong>, who survives. Mr. Austin was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors, besides his wife, are four sons, <strong>William Austin, Doyle, Charles Austin<\/strong>, Hickory Valley, <strong>Van Austin,<\/strong> Detroit, Mich., and <strong>Carrol Austin,<\/strong> Sparta.
