(d. 1941)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Joe E. Anderson<\/strong> died Tuesday morning at his home in Dunlap. Mr. Anderson had been in failing health for some months. He was a son of<strong> William E. and Isabell McRee Anderson<\/strong> and was born July 10, 1872 at the old<strong> Josiah M. Anderson<\/strong> home, southeast of Dunlap. He is survived by his wife, who was <strong>Miss Emma Prigmore<\/strong>, of Marion county, and the following children: <strong>William E. Anderson<\/strong>, Chattanooga; <strong>Mrs. Almeda Burks<\/strong>, McMinnville; <strong>Joe Anderson, Jr<\/strong>., Dunlap; <strong>R.L. Anderson<\/strong>, McMinnville; <strong>Mrs. T.O. Hinton<\/strong>, Anniston, Ala.; <strong>Mrs. S. R. Hinton<\/strong>, Dunlap; <strong>Haskel Anderson<\/strong>, Chattanooga; <strong>Mrs. Gordon Smith,<\/strong> El Paso, Tex.; several grandchildren, great-grand-children, and one sister, <strong>Miss Almeda Anderson<\/strong> of Chattanooga. Funeral will be conducted by the <strong>Rev. F.H. Carey<\/strong> at the Dunlap M.E. church at 2 p.m. Thursday. Burial service in charge of the Masonic lodge at Chapel Hill cemetery.\u00a0 Pallbearers:<strong> Gordon Smith, S.R. Hinton, R.A. Anderson, T.O. Hinton, Otto Hege, W.H. Smith, J.B.
